Palaeontology

To tell this story, we have travelled to the Museum of Manchester to film Dr David Gelsthorpe, the curator of one of the most important fossil collections, with over 100,000 specimens. Together with David we have chosen a selection of fossils and other specimens that help tell the story. These are supported by an ActiveWorksheet resource from Discovery Education, using Augmented Reality to bring some of the concepts and creatures to life, enabling teachers and students to experience them before their eyes.
